Deep down you know you’re a high achiever. You know you’re driven, motivated, and passionate - especially when something is important to you. You may even admit to being a perfectionist or know that you set high standards - mostly for yourself, but probably for other people too.

That’s exactly what makes you the best employee, CEO, or business owner. In fact, those are precisely the qualities that got you here. However, they may not be the qualities that get you to the next level and sometimes, they may be the exact features that sabotage your plans.

You might feel stressed, frustrated, or irritable that things “should” be just fine, but something feels off. Sometimes you feel stuck or drained. But you can’t quite put your finger on why. You’ve worked so hard and you can’t even imagine doing more. But you want more. Sometimes you get so annoyed that other people seem so happy as they are. And that’s 100% understandable!

what can i expect?

You and I will work closely together to figure out what’s working and what isn’t. Clearly you’ve done really well for yourself and have achieved plenty. So that’s not the issue. But there might be some sneaky thought patterns that have creeped up that are keeping you stuck, or at least feeling stuck and unfulfilled.

I will ask you specific questions that will help us better understand who you are as a human being. What matters most to you. How you see your life unfolding. Don’t worry if you can’t answer these right away - in fact, feel free to mull these questions over and bring them to session!

I know you’re the kind of person who loves having things to do. And you’re also really good at following instructions. But, some of the challenges for you now might be sitting with who you want to be.

That being said, there will be an abundance of things for you to work through. I will not leave you high and dry because after all, I like structure and there’s no point to us just wandering aimlessly. So you will absolutely know exactly what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what your specific plan of action is.

Is this still therapy?

Yes. In true therapeutic fashion, I will still ask you questions about your family, relationships, jobs, schools, worries, highs, lows, etc. What will be new is this piece of upleveling your whole life. Not just your career or business, but how you feel everywhere you show up.

But this isn’t your mother’s talk therapy. We go deep, but only to the extent that it makes sense and helps propel you forward. Nothing I do in session is just for the sake of it. I’m very mindful and deliberate and one of my own strengths is seeing where my clients need to go - even if they don’t know it yet. Our relationship is important and will also help us figure out what needs to change in your life outside of therapy. It is a real relationship and it requires trust and honesty. It is our greatest asset in your uplevel.

To me, this work is the embodiment of positive psychology. It’s enriching your life, following your strengths, and thriving beyond the typical norms of success.

The idea is that you will walk away knowing exactly what you need to do to keep thriving in any situation. You will feel confident and trusting in yourself and the decisions you make. You will know why you do what you do and what needs to change if you want to see a different outcome.

This is the definition of freedom. Choosing your own identity, desires, and standards - and creating meaning and fulfillment every step of the way. You get to live this life now.
